Assistant Coach Dale White Bio

Dale White enters his second season as an assistant coach for Georgia Southern. Prior to his arrival in Statesboro, White spent four years playing as an undergraduate at Armstrong Atlantic State University. In his career at AASU, White compiled a record of 82-47 in singles and 104-45 in doubles.

As a freshman in 2001-02, White was ranked 42nd in the nation by the Omni Hotels/Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division II collegiate tennis rankings, and he and doubles partner Achim Rother finished the season ranked 10th. In 2002-03, White and Rother were listed as the No. 5 Division II doubles partners, according to the ITA. In his senior season, White was 46th in singles, and seventh in doubles with then partner Robert Jendelund.

“We are glad to have Dale as a part of our staff,” said head coach Justin Miles. “He had a great playing career at Armstrong Atlantic and we welcome his knowledge of the game and look forward to having his experience at Georgia Southern.”
