John Miller joined the staff in the summer of 2007 and handles all administrative duties relating to the men's basketball program.
Miller, 27, is the video coordinator and heads up the film exchange program. He is also the logistical coordinator for daily operations.
Miller, who holds the title of Director of Basketball Operations, comes to Georgia Southern from Sante Fe Community College where he served as assistant coach for one season.
While at the Gainesville, Fla. school, he helped the Saints to a 25-5 record and a Mid-Florida Conference championship.
Prior to joining the staff at SFCC he was an assistant coach at P.K. Yonge High School, the alma mater of current player Willie Powers. The Blue Wave recorded a 25-5 mark while advancing to the Florida AAA Elite Eight.
Miller will be heading up the new Eagle Outreach program, designed to build positive relationships with area schools and the youth of Statesboro.
He is a 2007 graduate of the University of Florida and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in sport management. He is a member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
Miller is single and resides in Statesboro.
