Matthew Taylor assumed the position of Assistant Director of Corporate Sponsorships on August 1, 2007 after serving as an intern with Director of Sports Marketing Brent Jones. As the Assistant Director of Corporate Sponsorships, Taylor assists with the coordination and management of all aspects of corporate sponsorships including but not limited to prospecting, identifying new clients, negotiating deals, serving as a liaison for Georgia Southern Athletics and Eagle Sports Marketing, and managing game day promotions. He is responsible for coordinating all pregame promotions and assists with all in-game promotions for football, men's basketball, and baseball. Additionally, Taylor serves as the Assistant Executive Producer for the Chris Hatcher Coach's Show (Football) and the Jeff Price Coach's Show (Basketball).
Prior to accepting the position of Assistant Director of Corporate Sponsorships he was an active member of the Game Operations Department dating back to August 2005. He assisted with facility preparation, team and referee services, and scoreboards for soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and softball.
Taylor graduated from Georgia Southern University with a BA in Sports Management and a minor in Business in May of 2007.
Taylor currently resides with Brent Jones and Biscuit Ann Jones.
