Mike Anthony has been appointed as Assistant Sports Marketing Director for the 2007-08 year. His responsibilities as Assistant Director include the marketing and promotion of men's and women's soccer, women's basketball and baseball. He also assists in the pregame and in-game promotions during football.
In addition to his marketing and promotion responsibilities, Mike also serves as the director of the Georgia Southern Junior Eagle Club. As the director of the club, he schedules various events and promotions during Georgia Southern athletic events that are tailored toward the club's young members.
As an undergraduate, Anthony first joined the Georgia Southern athletic department as an intern for Eagle Sports Marketing and Director of Sports Marketing Brent Jones in the Spring of 2007. During that period, he served as an assistant to the sports marketing staff, helping to advertise upcoming games and events, and coordinating in-game promotions.
Anthony received his degree in Sport Management from Georgia Southern in May of 2007. He is currently enrolled as a graduate student in the GSU Sport Management masters program.
