Four-year letterman on the basketball court and all-South independent selection in 1977-78. The fifth all-time leading scorer with 1,839 points. Was an exceptional rebounder, grabbing 642 during his career to rank 19th on the all-time list. Also ranks 10th in career scoring average (17.2). Topped the Eagles in scoring during 1978-79 season with 22.0 points-per-game average. Career high of 35 points helped Southern to 75-73 victory over Georgia State during junior year. Is second all-time in field goals with 792 in his career. Earned all-tournament honors at Furman's 1977 Poinsetta Classic. Passed away in March 2011.
