Georgia Southern Athletics Hall of Fame
Led the Eagles men’s basketball team in scoring from 1982-1984 after transferring from Lake City Community College. Scored 463 points in 30 games, an average of 15.4 ppg, from 1982-83 and 14.8 ppg (400points in 27 games) from 1983-84. Received All-Trans Athletic Conference and All-Tournament honors. Scored game winning baskets three times as a junior (at South Carolina, vs. Samford, vs. Arkansas-Little Rock in conference tournament championship game.) Played his career-best scoring 33 points vs. N. Arizona in Evansville Holiday tournament and grabbing eight rebounds against Hardin-Simmons during 1983-84 season. Dished out season-best seven assists against Northwestern during senior campaign. Scored in double figures in 27 of 30 games as a junior and 24 of 28 games as a senior. Awarded Hall of Fame on Oct. 22, 1994
