Administrator, 1990-99... Served as Georgia Southern's first Senior Woman Administrator from 1993 to 1999... Also was faculty chair of athletics (1990-92), associate athletics director and an assistant professor in the mathematics and computer science department... As an athlete, has won numerous tennis championships and recognitions, including a No. 1 ranking in the South in W55 singles, a No. 2 national ranking and a No. 41 world ranking... Additionally, was the 2001 national champion in singles and doubles in W55 and was selected as South Carolina's "Outstanding Woman Adult Player."... Was chosen to play on the Maureen Connolly Cup Team in 2003, representing the USTA in the ITF International Cup matches in Antalya, Turkey... Also captured the USTA National Hardcourt Championship and was tabbed as the ‘Female Player of the Year’ for the Southern Section in 2003.
