STATESBORO, Ga. – Over the next week and a half we meet each of the Eagles on the women's tennis team and learn a little bit more about each of the ladies. Next up on our list is junior Emilia Bujan from Santo Tome, Corrientes, Argentina. Bujan lead the team with 13 victories as a sophomore and held two four match winning streaks during the season. Alongside of doubles partner Ella Monsey, Bujan collected 11 victories and was named to the 2016-2017 Sun Belt Commissioner's List.

 
What do you enjoy most about playing tennis?
Competitiveness and the feeling of winning.
What age did you start playing tennis?
I first picked up a racket at the age of five.
When/why did you decide tennis was going to be the sport you concentrated on?
When I was 12 I began to really focus on tennis.
What are you most looking forward to about the upcoming season?
I would like to improve my personal record and also have a good conference tournament.
Who has had the greatest influence on your game?
My old tennis coach, Ruben Re.
If you could meet anyone, past present, who would it be?
I would love to meet Rodger Federer.
What do most people not know about you?
I can play a decent amount of songs on the guitar.
