STATESBORO, Ga. – Friday afternoon the Eagles kicked off the 2017-18 fall season at the USC Upstate Invitational. The tournament consists of two singles draws and a doubles draw for the weekend. The tournament hosted USC Upstate, Queens University, Gardner-Webb, Furman, and Georgia Southern.

Play began with the singles main draw and continued throughout the afternoon with doubles. The Blue and White had a very successful afternoon with
Arianne de Winter and
Charlotte van Diemen advancing to the semifinals of the doubles bracket.

Emilia Bujan both advanced to the quarter finals of the singles draw. De Winter won in straight sets, while
Emilia Bujan defeated her opponent in three sets.
