STATESBORO, Ga. – On Wednesday afternoon the Sun Belt Conference announced the 2017 Sun Belt Preseason All-Conference Team. Redshirt Senior Sarah Price was selected to the First-Team All-Conference Preseason team.

As a junior Price started 15 of the 17 games she played in, racking up 1388 minutes, 18 points, 8 goals, 2 assists, and 16 shots on goal. Her 6 goals in conference play were tied for first last season, while she averaged just over 1.20 goals per game.

During the 2016 season Price led the team in shots (31), goals (8), points (18), and game winners (3). She ranked second on the team with assists and score game winning goals against Winthrop, Kennesaw State, and Arkansas State.

Price is one of four selected to the First-Team All-Conference Team. The Eagles open up the season at home with Florida Gulf Coast on August 18, and Gardner-Webb on August 20.
