STATESBORO, Ga. – On Wednesday afternoon, the Eagles honored seniors
Giulia Riepe and
Mariana Ranzahuer, as they took the court for the final time at Wallis Tennis Center. The Eagles would fall to College of Charleston 6-1, finishing the season with a 10-11 record.
Mariana Ranzahuer would cap off her final match for the Blue and White with a victory in straight sets.
The Eagles were threatening early, forcing a one all split in doubles play. The Cougars would prevail after a back and forth affair on court two. The Eagles will now await seeding for the Sun Belt Tournament. The tournament begins on Thursday, April 20
th, with three matches. Match information and viewing links will be posted early next week.
