STATESBORO, Ga. – During spring break the Women's Tennis team traveled to South Florida for a three match road trip. The Eagles would fall to 9-5 on the season, after a tough slate of matches this past week. The blue and white will now have the week off before returning to action on Saturday when they host the Sun Belt Pod Weekend. The Eagles will face South Alabama on Saturday and Georgia State on Sunday, as they look to continue their undefeated season at home.

FLORIDA GULF COAST – On Monday the Eagles began their short road stint in Fort Myers, against Florida Gulf Coast University. The blue and white would surrender the doubles point giving the Eagles a 1-0 lead heading into singles play. Florida Gulf Coast would feed off of this momentum and defeat Georgia Southern 7-0.

#24 FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL – In the second match of the Eagles spring break road trip, the ladies traveled to Miami to face off against No. 24 Florida International University. The Panthers would defeat the Eagles 4-0 behind a sweep in doubles, and No. 28 ranked player Andrea Lazaro.

Emilia Bujan would give the Eagles their second point after defeating her opponent 6-4, 6-0. The blue and white would fall to the Owls 4-2 and finish their road trip 9-5 overall.
