STATESBORO, Ga. – For the first time since 2010 the Georgia Southern women's tennis team defeated UNC-Greensboro 4-3. The Eagles would sweep the weekend in North Carolina and improve to 7-2 on the season. They will now return home for a two match home stand against Bethune-Cookman and Kennesaw State starting Friday.

UNCG – After being delayed three times on Saturday afternoon, the Georgia Southern women's tennis team took on UNC-Greensboro. The Spartans would take the doubles point after winning on all three courts. The Eagles would battle back, winning four of the next six points in singles play.
Paige Christian recorded her first win of the season defeating Sophia Adams 7-6 (8-6), 2-6, 6-4 on court six.
Mariana Ranzahuer and
Emilia Bujan would make quick work of their opponents defeating them in straight sets 6-2, 6-2. The blue and white would go on to defeated the Spartans 4-3 and improve to 6-2 on the season.

NORTH CAROLINA A&T – Sunday afternoon marked the second half of the women's tennis team's road trip to Greensboro, North Carolina. The Eagles would defeat the Aggies 4-0 in a clinch-clinch style match. The blue and white began the afternoon with a clean sweep of doubles play. The Eagles would continue to add to their lead with
Emilia Bujan and Arianne De Winter defeated their opponents in straight sets.
