CHARLESTON, S.C. – Georgia Southern Rifle set some competitive scores on Sunday in the 2016 Charleston NCAA Qualifying Meet. Courtney Weekey led the way for the Eagles, posting 1,125 while Emmy Johnson broke the school record on air rifle with a 581. The Eagles' scores will be submitted to the NCAA before National Championship Selections are made over the next few weeks.Â

"Our team did a great job today," said Head Coach Jim Riggs. "We have continued to improve each time out and with today's third place finish we're going to move up another spot in the national rankings to No. 24."
