Kaylyn Thomas and Mykala Arnold each scored school records in the 100 Fly and 100 Back events in the prelims. The 400 Medley Relay squad also tallied a new school record. The meet concludes on Saturday with prelims starting at 10 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m.
WHAT THE COACHES SAID
Head Coach Nate Kellogg
"Today was full of inspired performances. We are fighting for every race and racing tough. I'm beyond proud of our swimmers and divers for their effort today. Tomorrow, the last day of the meet, every team will be tired but we have to find a way to push through and finish strong. The last day is all about guts."
Diving Coach David Giambra
"Divers did great today. Hannah had an awesome prelims and put together a quality finals. Emma broke the conference and school record (previous best 281.00) in a winning 1M in a tightly contested event. She solidified the win with a 60 point last dive where she kept all 8s. She became the first Georgia Southern diver to sweep the springboard events at CCSAs and break the 300 point barrier."
