Registration still open for all-day soccer camp on Feb. 20
STATESBORO, Ga.- The Brian Dunleavy Soccer Academy is holding a one-day winter ID clinic Saturday, Feb. 20th. The camp, run by Georgia Southern women's soccer Coach Brian Dunleavy, will be held on the Georgia Southern University campus at the Erk Russell Athletic Complex and Bishop Fieldhouse.
The camp is intended for high level players that have a strong desire to play at the highest level of college soccer. This is a competitive environment which is designed for those from eighth through 12th grade, offering simulated college training sessions and the opportunity to experience the GSU campus. Both teams and individuals can improve through the multiple sessions at the ID clinic.
Check-in begins at 9 a.m. followed by the first training session and lunch. Then participants will learn more about soccer at the collegiate level through a NCAA recruiting presentation and a Q & A with the women's soccer student-athletes before they break for the second session, followed by a scrimmage.
All Georgia Southern sports camps are open to any and all applicants and are limited only by the number of slots available per camp and the age, grade level and/or gender of the participant.
