Promotions Highlight Weekend Volleyball Matches
Junior Eagle Club members, in addition to receiving free admission to the match, will be invited to participate in an ice cream social from Bruster’s Real Ice Cream and Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs. The ice cream social begins at 6:30 p.m. for all members.
In conjunction with the Georgia Southern Cheerleaders on Friday, “Parent’s Night Out” provides parents the chance for a night out on the town while their children can enjoy a fun-filled evening under the supervision of the Georgia Southern Cheerleaders.
Prior to the match, children can play games, decorate pumpkins, get face tattoos, learn crowd chants and decorate signs before the Eagles take the court against the Paladins at 7 p.m. The event will begin in the back gym of Hanner Fieldhouse at 5:30 p.m. and concludes at 9 p.m. GUS will also be on site for crowd entertainment following the match.
“Parents’ Night Out” is for children ages 4-12 and the cost for the event is $15. All fans who come to the Halloween match at 7 p.m. Saturday, October 31st dressed in a Halloween costume will receive free admission to the match. All contestants will be automatically entered into a costume-contest at halftime for the best-dressed fan. The first 50 fans in attendance to the Wofford match can receive a free slice of pizza from Domino’s.
