Rain Forces Match Postponement in Mid-Play
STATESBORO, GA - In preparation for the threat of inclement weather, Georgia Southern and UNC Greensboro pushed the match up to 12:45 p.m., but were unable to complete the match. Singles were played first in attempts to finish the match, but with the score tied at 3-all and the rain coming in the beginning of doubles competition, the match was forced to be postponed.
The teams will resume play were they left off on Sunday, March 14 at 9 a.m. Georgia Southern will then play Bethune-Cookman at noon. The Eagles will play host to Wofford on Saturday, March 13 with a first serve of 11 a.m.
