Lauren Parr Named CCSA Swimmer of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Lauren Parr (Canton, Ohio) was named the CCSA swimmer of the week.

 

Parr had a stellar week in a dual meet with Gardner-Webb on Friday and at the Georgia Tech Fall Quad on Saturday.

 

Against Gardner-Webb she finished first in the 200 yard Butterfly with a time of 2:08.06. She also placed second in the 1000 Freestyle with a time of 10:31.01 and finished second in the 200 IM with a time of 2:10.89.

 

The next day she placed second in the 200 yard Butterfly with a time of 2:07.53 at the Georgia Tech Fall Quad. She also finished ninth in the 200 IM and 10th in the 100 yard Butterfly with a time of 59.07.

 

"Lauren had a very good weekend, facing some tough competition, but that's when she's at her best. She is a racer - no matter who is swimming beside her or what team they're on, she loves to race," said head coach Nathan Kellogg.

 

The Lady Eagles (4-5) return to action November 21st at the Davidson Invitational in Davidson, N.C.
