Nina Iduate Named to Academic All-District Softball Team
A sophomore from Norcross, Ga., Iduate is a mathematics major with a 3.57 GPA.
Iduate was a first team All-Southern Conference selection this season after posting a .377 batting average which ranked third in the league. She is fourth in the nation in sacrifice hits per game (0.39) and her current hit total of 72 is second-most in a single season in school history.
Iduate, a second baseman, is the first GSU softball player on record to be named to the Academic All-District team.
Members of the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Team are selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
