Streetmon Named to the NFCA All-Region Team

STARKVILLE, Miss. - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced their All-Region Teams Thursday and named Georgia Southern's Brianna Streetmon (Winder, Ga.) to the South Region First Team.

Streetmon had a stellar season earning SoCon First Team All-Conference, Pitcher of the Month, Most Outstanding Player and Pitcher of the Year honors. She finished the season with a 17-10 record and a 1.95 ERA.

The Winder native helped Georgia Southern to a fourth straight championship game appearance and a near upset of #8 Georgia. She appeared in all six tournament games and had a stretch of 20 innings without allowing an earned run in the tournament, helping the Eagles bounce back from the early loss to Furman.

The sophomore pitcher has already left her name in the Eagles' record book. She tied the single season record for pitching appearances (40), ranks third with 17 wins in a season and tied for fourth in starts.
