Toussaint Receives All-Conference Honors

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – At the conclusion of the 2007 women’s soccer campaign, Georgia Southern junior forward Ashley Toussaint was honored by the league’s coaches as a member of the All-Southern Conference Second Team.

The Warner Robins, Ga.–native was honored among the league’s best for her outstanding performance on the field, leading the squad with 12 points on a team-best five goals and matching a team-high two assists.

In 16 games played, Toussaint ranked among the league’s best on offense, fifth in shots (48) and second in shots per game (3.00).

The Eagles finished the season 3-12-2 overall and 2-6-2 in conference play.
