Women's Soccer vs. The Citadel Moves to Thursday at 4 p.m.
STATESBORO, Ga. - As Southern Conference play continues this weekend for the Georgia Southern Women's Soccer team, the Eagles will move their match versus The Citadel to 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 14th. The home match will be held at Eagle Field at the Soccer/Track Complex at Erk Russell Athletic Park.
Originally scheduled for the next day, the match will move up a day in accordance with an agreement with the Southern Conference which allows league teams playing on a "split" weekend to adjust dates. Both the opponents for Georgia Southern and The Citadel have changed their schedules to the Thursday-Sunday dates and this move assures equity throughout the conference's weekend competitions.
Georgia Southern travels on Sunday, October 17th, to play College of Charleston for a 2 p.m. match at the Patriots Point Athletics Complex in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
