SoCon Announces Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll

STATESBORO, Ga. - The Southern Conference announced their annual women's soccer preseason coaches' poll Wednesday. The Eagles were picked to finish 10th in this year's poll.

UNC Greensboro was selected as the preseason favorite in the conference. The Spartans were one of four teams to receive first place votes and led the way with seven.

Western Carolina came in second with three first place votes and was the only other team to receive multiple votes.

UNC Greensboro and Western Carolina led the way in the preseason all-conference voting with three players each being named to the Preseason All-Conference Team.

Georgia Southern returns second team All-SoCon team member Danae Kaimuloa (Escondido, Calif.). The Eagles get underway Saturday at Charleston Southern.
