STATESBORO, GA. – Georgia Southern Women’s Soccer opens the 2012 NCAA Women’s Soccer Tournament against No. 3 seeded Wake Forest on Saturday evening at 7 p.m. The 2012 Southern Conference Champions enter the NCAA tournament for the first time in program history against the 15-5-3 Demon Deacons.

The Eagles are 10-7-5 on the year and defeated third seeded Furman to win the SoCon Championship on Sunday afternoon via penalty kicks, 5-4.
