Head Cross Country Coach Natalie Smith said, “We are using this meet for as a part of our speed training so I am really looking forward to seeing how the ladies compete.
The Eagles will rely on Laura Fuller (Cartersville, Ga.) placed 18th and finished first for the Lady Eagles with a time of 19:41.83. Shauntel Jennings (Stone Mountain, Ga.) finished in 19th place with a time of 19:43.89.
“UTC is always a great place to run,” said Smith. “Their course is always tough but shows good times. We are only two weeks away from our Conference Championships and I know that our team is really excited. Once again as long as we have a good gap time this week I will be happy because that is what it takes to do well as a team.”
