■ Georgia Southern takes on two-time defending SoCon champion Samford Monday in the Pete Hanna Center.
■ It's the Eagles' seventh SoCon game and fifth on the road.
■ It's the final game in a stretch where the Eagles play five games in 10 days.
■ Following the contest against the Bulldogs, eight of the remaining 13 contests on the Eagles' slate will be in Hanner Fieldhouse.
■ Georgia Southern is coming off a 75-43 loss at Chattanooga Saturday.

■ GSU's 71 points against Kent State were the most the Eagles have scored against a Division I opponent since a 72-49 win over Jacksonville State Nov. 26, 2011.
■ The Eagles' 24-point margin of victory over the Golden Flashes was their most over a Division I opponent since topping Mercer 76-45 Dec. 11, 2009.
■ Since the 2010-11 season, Georgia Southern has five losses by one point and 11 losses by five points or less. The Eagles have suffered three losses by four points or less this season.
■ GSU finished the 2012-13 campaign with a 1-8 record in non-conference games. Four of those opponents (James Madison, Stetson, Florida Atlantic, Georgia State) have winning records, and those squads have combined for a 34-22 mark.
