SportSouth to Broadcast Women?s Basketball at WCU

STATESBORO, Ga. – SportSouth and the Southern Conference announced yesterday that the Georgia Southern women’s basketball game at Western Carolina has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 23, at Cullowhee, N.C. and will be broadcast on SportSouth. Tip-off is slated for 12:30 p.m.

The game is part of a package of 17 Southern Conference men’s and women’s basketball games for the 2007-2008 season. As part of the package, SportSouth will also broadcast the Southern Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament Semifinals, Mar. 9 at 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., and the Championship game, Mar. 10 at 5 p.m.

In addition to the news of the broadcast, the Lady Eagle schedule has been modified, the changes taking place with games versus Davidson, Western Carolina, USC-Upstate and Georgia Tech.
