Men Set to Play at the Annual Seminole Invitational and the Landing's Tournament

Statesboro, Ga. - The Georgia Southern Men’s Tennis Team is set to participate at the Annual Seminole Invitational this weekend in Tallahassee, Fla. and the Landings Club Tournament in Savannah, Ga.

 

Gregory Bekkers (Antwerp, Belgium), Mark Paetz (Munich, Germany), Edio Castanhel (Criciuma, Brazil), Alain Garrido (Vigo, Spain), Wesley Powell (Bainbridge, GA) will participate in singles at the Seminole Invitational.  Bekkers and Castanhel, and Paetz and Garrido will also participate in doubles.

 

Matthew Sands (Nassau, Bahamas) and Joris De Weerdt (Mortsel, Belgium) will participate in the Landings Club Tournament starting Friday.

 

Georgia Southern Men’s Tennis Coach Justin Miles said, “These are our last fall tournaments and I hope we can finish on a strong note.”

 

The Seminole Invitational is set to start on Saturday at 8 a.m. and is a three day event.
