Two Men?s Soccer Players Named to the SoCon All-Tournament Team

Spartanburg, S.C. - Sophomore Austin Steele (Kennesaw, Ga.) and Freshman Joe Madigan (Centennial, Colo.) were named to the SoCon All-Tournament team.

Steele scored the game-winning goal against Davidson in the 58th minute of the first round match and took a shot on goal in the second round against UNC Greensboro. The sophomore defender started all 17 matches and scored two goals.

Madigan scored the first goal of the Davidson match in the 41st minute and assisted on Steele’s goal in the 58th minute. The freshman forward finished the season with two goals and two assists.

The men’s soccer team finished their season with an 8-8-1 (4-3-0) record.
