Football Walk-on Tryouts to be held Wednesday

STATESBORO, Ga. - Walk-on tryouts for the Georgia Southern Football team will be held on Wednesday, February 23rd at 4 p.m. at the football practice fields located on Tillman Road between Hwy. 301 and Fair Road.

Georgia Southern students interested in trying out for the Football team must bring proof of a physical exam conducted within one year of the tryout date, proof of medical insurance and their spring 2011 class schedule confirming enrollment in a minimum of 12 credit hours. A signed copy of the athletic training waiver is required. All participants must meet NCAA eligibility standards and agree and comply with the Georgia Southern and NCAA drug testing policy.

Participants must bring a T-shirt, shorts and cleats to wear for the tryouts.
