Gilliland Discusses Signees, Spring Football at Savannah Business Luncheon March 27th
SAVANNAH, Ga. – Eagle Football Recruiting Coordinator Brett Gilliland will be the featured speaker on Wednesday, March 27th, at the Georgia Southern Savannah Business Luncheon. Held at the Johnny Harris Banquet Facility at 1651 E. Victory Drive in Savannah, the gathering features a tasty buffet and speakers from the Athletics Department or University who provide updates and information.
Coach Gilliland, in his fourth year as an Eagle assistant coach and second year as recruiting coordinator, will recap Georgia Southern’s 2013 signing class and discuss the objectives for spring practice. The Eagles started spring practice on March 13th prior to the University’s semester break and are scheduled to be in full pads the day before this speaking engagement.
Serving lines for the Savannah Business luncheon open at 11:45 a.m. with the program beginning at 12:20 p.m. and concluding at 1 p.m. The cost of the luncheon is $10 which includes buffet, sweet tea, tax and gratuity. Fans, friends and alumni are always welcome to attend the Savannah Business Luncheon, however, due to NCAA regulations, bringing students in grades 9-12 to this month’s event is not encouraged.
Georgia Southern Director of Athletics Tom Kleinlein and Eagle Head Coaches will visit Savannah next month as part of the Eagle Fund’s Coaches Tour.
