Men's Basketball to Face Jacksonville State in ESPN BracketBusters
Jacksonville State currently sits 9-11 overall and 3-8 in the Ohio Valley Conference. The Gamecocks have lost seven of their last eight, the lone win a 10-point victory at Southeast Missouri.
This will be the first meeting between the two programs since November 29, 1999 (87-84 win in Jacksonville). The Eagles own a 5-3 all-time lead in the series.
The Eagles entered Monday 7-12 overall and 5-6 in the Southern Conference, prior to their game against Appalachian State.
As part of the ESPN BracketBusters arrangement, Georgia Southern will make a return trip to Jacksonville State next season.
