Eric Ferguson Earns All-SoCon Tournament Honors

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Georgia Southern's Eric Ferguson added another honor to his mantle on Monday night as he picked up Southern Conference All-Tournament second team honors.

A native of Statesboro, Ga., Ferguson averaged 23.5 points per game in last weekend's SoCon Tournament. He posted 26 points in the Eagles' win over Chattanooga, the most scored by any player in this year's league tournament. On Saturday night, Ferguson posted 21 points in the season-ending loss to Elon.

Ferguson is the first All-SoCon Tournament team honoree since Elton Nesbitt picked up second team honors in 2004.
