Georgia Southern’s head men’s basketball coach Jeff Price will welcome six newcomers to the 2008-09 squad:

Colby Wohlleb
6-6, 210, guard... Graduate of Boca Raton HS... Also attended North Broward Prep... Averaged 20 points and 7.8 rebounds per game his senior year... First team All-Palm Beach County... Averaged 20.3 points and 11.1 rebounds his junior season at NBP... Early signing period.

Nate Blackburn
6-5, 180, guard... Graduate of Graham HS (Burlington, N.C.)... All-State performer after 18 ppg average as a senior... While at Western Alamance HS, averaged 15.4 points and 5.3 rebounds in 2006-07 and was an All-Triad 3-A Conference selection... Early signing period.

Ben Drayton
5-10, 165, guard... Graduate of Camden County HS (St. Mary’s, Ga.)... Averaged over 30 points and 11 assists per outing as a senior... Leading scorer in Class AAAAA in the state of Georgia... Late signing period.

Antonio Hanson
6-2, 175, guard... Transfer from Independence (Kan.) CC... Native of Fort Worth, Texas... Averaged 20.2 points and 3.9 assists last season... Jayhawk Conference Player of the Year... Early signing period.

Sandy Perry
6-7, 220, forward... Transfer from Barton County (Kan.) CC... Native of Perth Amboy, N.J... Averaged 10 points and six rebounds per game... Late signing period.

Tyler Troupe
6-7, 215, forward... Transfer from Iowa Western CC... Native of Gallatin, Tenn... Averaged seven points and seven rebounds per game last season... Late signing period.

Price and the Eagles went 20-12 last season and finished second in the Southern Conference.
