Men's Basketball Drops One Spot in Mid Major Poll

STATESBORO, Ga. --- Following a split of two games last week, including a narrow three-point loss to Florida, the Georgia Southern men’s basketball team dropped one spot to No. 19 in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll released this week.

The Eagles (7-2, 2-0 SoCon) remain the top-rated Southern Conference school, two spots ahead of No. 21 Davidson.

Gonzaga (8-2) moved up from No. 2 to claim the top spot, garnering 22 first-place votes. The Bulldogs are followed by Butler, St. Mary’s, Creighton and Holy Cross.
