Start Time of Friday's Baseball Game Pushed Back to 8 p.m.

STATESBORO, Ga. - The start time of the series opener between Georgia Southern and Elon has been pushed back to 8 p.m. due to heavy rain in the Statesboro area. The game was originally set for 7 p.m. but heavy rain and lightning descended upon the Georgia Southern campus prior to the four o'clock hour and has since subsided. The extra hour will allow time for the field to dry in preparation for tonight's clash between the top two teams in the Southern Conference.
