Resumption of Game One Postponed Until Sunday
STATESBORO, Ga. - The resumption of game one of the Indiana series has been postponed until 9 a.m. Sunday.
Georgia Southern and Indiana resumed Friday's series opener Saturday evening but were only able to get 1.1 innings in before lightning forced a delay. Steady rain was quick to follow forcing the resumption of game one to be moved to Sunday.
Game one will resume in the top of the fourth inning with the Eagles leading 5-0. Scott Donley will be at the plate for the Hoosiers with an 0-1 count and one out.
