UPDATE: Registration for the Women's Football Clinic closes today at 12 p.m. BUT walk-ups are welcome at tomorrow's event. Check-in starts at 3:30 p.m.

STATESBORO – Lace up your cleats, apply your eye-black, and get ready for the 2018 Women's Football Clinic! Registration is now open for the event, which is set for Saturday, Aug. 4 at 5 p.m. at Paulson Stadium, Bishop Fieldhouse and the Ted Smith Family Football Center.  
 
"The ladies of Eagle Nation will officially kickoff the fall season at this year's clinic," said Dan Adams, Assistant Athletic Director for Promotions and Fan Experience. "We have a fun evening planned and having an energetic head coach in Chad Lunsford will make it all the more enjoyable."

The 2018 Women's Football Clinic includes:
• Mix and mingle with other ladies of Eagle Nation
• Special welcome from head football coach Chad Lunsford
• Wear a Georgia Southern football team jersey for the evening
• Fashion show & equipment contest
• Instruction on the basic rules and strategies of football
• Tour of the Ted Smith Family Football Center
• Weight Room Demonstration
• Athletic Training overview
• On-field drills led by the Georgia Southern football coaching staff (optional)
• Official camp T-shirt
• Door prizes
• Heavy hors d'oeuvres prior to clinic
• Open bar
• Group photo with coaches

It is recommended that all participants dress casually with athletic shirts, shorts and sneakers. Doors open for check-in at Bishop Fieldhouse at 3:30 p.m. Heavy hors d'oeuvres and an open bar will be served from 3:30 p.m-5 p.m.

Registration costs $30 per person. All participants must be 18 years of age or older (21 and up with proper ID for the open bar).
