STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern Swimming & Diving has once again earned Scholar All-America Team status from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), announced today by the organization.Â
The Eagles earn the honor for carrying a 3.54 GPA during the Spring 2018 semester. It is the fourth straight semester the team has earned the honor, as Georgia Southern carried a 3.55 GPA for the Fall semester. It is also the 11th time out of the last 12 semesters for the squad to be so honored, dating back to 2012.
Georgia Southern had its best year in the classroom in school history, as the 3.55 GPA carried by the team in the Fall 2017 semester to earn Scholar All-America Team status was a program best.Â
