Players Returning
The Warhawks return almost everyone, including eight of their previous starters. They do lose three valuable players, including wide receiver Brian Williams, who had an impressive touchdown against Auburn. Of those returning is quarterback Caleb Evans who threw for nearly 3,000 yards and rushed for nearly 700 yards. Receivers Marcus Green and RJ Turner both had a 54 percent success rate and will return for the 2018 season. The top five running backs and six linemen with starting experience also return.
Series History
Georgia Southern currently leads the series 5-2 against the Warhawks, last seeing them in Paulson Stadium during the 2016 season, where the Eagles prevailed 23-21. The last loss against ULM was in 1991 on the Warhawks' home field. GS has won three in a row against ULM.
