Men's Tennis Posts 8th Ranked Mid-Major Recruiting Class

Eagles rank 8th in TRN mid-major recruiting class

STATESBORO, Ga. – On Monday afternoon the Tennis Recruiting Network named their top-25 mid-major men's recruiting classes. The mid-major rankings include all colleges in all divisions except for those in the five "power" conferences in college football. Those conferences include the ACC, Big 10, Big 12, PAC-12, and SEC.

The Eagles were ranked eighth in the recruiting class with three signees for the 2018-19 season. Antonio Muniz Hidalgo from Spain has a TRN of 71 and is ranked 602 in the ITF rankings. In the ATP rankings he posts a 1773 spot and has a UTR (Universal Tennis Ranking) of 12.82. Martijn Kerssens from the Netherlands has a TRN of 88 and posts a UTR of 13.12. The third and final signee for the 2018 season comes from Miami Beach, Florida. Taylor Streda is a 3-Star recruit with a TRN of 313. He currently posts a 10.42 UTR and will join the Eagles in the fall.
