NEW ORLEANS – Georgia Southern women's golf sophomore
Ella Ofstedahl has been named second-team All-Sun Belt, the conference announced today.
Ofstedahl ranked 13th in the SBC in scoring average (76.03) and posted three top-10 finishes and five top-20 outings. She played in all 11 tournaments and shot 72 or lower in six rounds, recording a school single-season record 67 birdies.
Ofstedahl placed fourth at the Texas State Invitational, tied for fifth at Charleston Invitational and tied for eighth at the Hennsler Intercollegiate. She tied for 20th at the Sun Belt Championship while helping the Eagles place third, their best finish in school history.Â
The entire Georgia Southern roster returns for the 2018-19 season.
