Spring Game Autograph Session FAQs

Everything you need to know about the event

We're excited you are coming to Saturday's Spring Game at Paulson Stadium and hope you enjoy your time watching and meeting the 2019 Eagle Football Team! We appreciate your support!

Here are a few FAQs in terms of the day so you are prepared for the event:

Q: How much does the autograph session cost?
A: The autograph session is a free event that will take place following the Blue-White Spring Game, which is also free!

Q: What time do gates open?
A: Gates for the Spring Game will open at 10 a.m. There is no reserved parking, so fans are encouraged to arrive early and park in the lot between the stadium and the soccer field or the Gold Lot. Fans may enter through Gate 12 in the west end (Bishop Field House) or Gate 5 (handicap by Cowart Building) and proceed to the lower portion of the north stands, which will be the only seating open to the general public.

Q: Who is available for autographs?
A: The 2019 football student-athletes, along with Coach Chad Lunsford will be available for autographs. They will be set up on the field in different position groups.

Q: How many and what type of items may I have signed?
A: Athletics will provide a limited number of free autograph cards to be signed by the football student-athletes and Coach Lunsford. However, outside items are allowed. Only one (1) item per autograph station may be signed per player. Sharpies will be provided to the student-athletes and Coach Lunsford.

Q: Can I take pictures with the student-athletes and coaches?
A: No posed photography is permitted. You may take photos as an autograph is being signed, but no posed photography that holds up the line will be allowed.

Q: Where are the restrooms located?
A: Restrooms are located on the north side concourse

Q; Will the concession stands be open?
A: Yes. Beverages and concession stands will be open for the Spring Game. Water coolers and cups will also be on the concourse for the autograph session.

Q: Will I be able to purchase Georgia Southern merchandise?
A: Yes. The University Store is on site with select merchandise.

Q: Will I be able to purchase Georgia Southern football tickets?
A: Yes. The Georgia Southern Athletics Ticket Office will have a kiosk set up to answer questions or to take ticket orders.

Q: Will GUS be present?
A: Yes. GUS and members of the Georgia Southern Spirit Squads will be in attendance. Once the gates are open, GUS and Spirit Squads will be on the field and will be available for photos during Fan Appreciation Day.

Q: Will there be water fountains?
A: Water fountains are available on the concourse or fans may purchase bottled waters from the concession stand.

Q: What time does autograph session end?
A: Once everything is set up, 45 minutes will be put on the clock. There will be stations group by positions, and you may only have time to get through some of them. Lines will close approximately five minutes prior to the clock expiring, so make sure you get to the lines by that time. Help do your part to move things along by being ready when you get the front of the line.

Q: What if I am unable to receive all the autographs I was hoping to get?
A: The Athletics Department will host Meet the Eagles Fan Fest on in August at Paulson Stadium. The football team, along with volleyball and the soccer squads, will be available for autographs at the event.
