GS Swimming & Diving Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Honor For Fall 2017

Eagles carried a 3.55 GPA for the Fall 2017 semester, earning the honor for a third straight semester

STATESBORO, Ga. - The Georgia Southern women's swimming & diving team has been named a Scholar All-America team for the Fall 2017 semester from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), announced today by the organization.

The 688 teams honored represent 430 institutions from across all NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA Divisions.  To earn the honor, teams were required to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the Fall Semester.

The Eagles carried a 3.55 GPA for the 2017 Fall semester, and earn the honor for the third consecutive semester and the 10th time out of the last 11 semesters, dating back to 2012. The GPA was tied with the University of Miami (Fla.) for the 26th best GPA among all NCAA Division I women's programs for Fall 2017.
