STATESBORO – Hurricane Irma has forced numerous scheduling changes for Goergia Southern athletics events this weekend in addition to Saturday's home football game against New Hampshire. Check back often for updates as we move into next week.

Football update

Volleyball GATA Challenge – No matches will be played at Georgia Southern. The Eagles may travel to Kennesaw State for a match this weekend but details are still being worked out.

Volleyball at UNF Sept. 12 - postponed and moved to Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. at UNF.

Men's soccer Coastal Empire Challenge – GS will play Houston Baptist Sept. 8 at noon at Eagle Field at Erk Park. All other matches are canceled. GS will make up its match with Jacksonville Sept. 27 at 7 p.m., and Houston Baptist will play at Gardner-Webb Sept. 10 at 1 p.m.

Cross-Country at UNF Invite – canceled

Men's Golf at The Invitational at The Ocean Course – the tournament has been canceled and may be rescheduled for a later date.
