MARTIN, Tenn. - Georgia Southern Rifle closed out a season-opening weekend double on Sunday with a dual match at UT Martin. The Eagles fell 4576-4477 to the No. 19 ranked Skyhawks. The Eagles next meet is an October 7 trip to VMI to face the Keydets and Morehead State.

Sunday's dual match was a paper targets affair, rather than the electronic targets that most matches are contested on. Courtney Weekley led the way for the Eagles, while Lydia Odlin had a career high in small bore just one day after setting a career-best with the air rifle.
