STATESBORO, Ga. - On Saturday, June 24, Georgia Southern fans, friends, alumni and golfers will join together for the annual 3-Person Golf Scramble in Dublin, Georgia.
The 27-hole event will be held at the Dublin Country Club located at 689 Country Club Road. A 9:30 a.m. shotgun start will kick off the continuous play with sausage foldovers provided throughout the day.
The scramble format will be comprised of 3-person teams and cost $375 per team or $125 per person. The registration fee includes a post-scramble meal, prizes for top teams in multiple flights, range balls, cart fee, prizes for top five closest shots on hole 17 and one entry per person into closest to pin on hole 17.
All proceeds will benefit the men's and women's golf programs at Georgia Southern University and the winning team will be placed on the tournament trophy.
"The Dublin-Georgia Southern Golf relationship has grown over the years financially and has raised over $100,000 for the golf teams. I am proud to help support the programs in any way I can." said event organizer Mike Cummings.
