Players Returning
The Red Wolves have made a bowl game in each of the past six seasons and are looking to make it seven in 2017. Returning seven of the eight top pass catchers, Justice Hansen will feel comfortable under center for A-State this season. Warren Wand carried the ball 200 times for just under 1,000 yards, scoring seven times last season. The Red Wolves' defense will be without seven starters from last season. Linebacker Kyle Wilson gave the Red Wolves 12.5 TFL along the front seven, while Blaise Taylor, Jamaris Hart, and Justin Clifton lead the secondary.
Series History
The series between the Red Wolves and Eagles is tied 1-1. The last meeting was on Oct. 5 of last season when the Red Wolves rallied to defeat the Eagles 27-26 in Jonesboro.
