Players Returning
The New Hampshire Wildcats are looking to make the Division I FCS Championship Tournament for the third consecutive year. With Trevor Knight taking the reins at starting quarterback this season, the Wildcats are looking to feed off of his 179-for-319 passing, for 1,714 yards and 14 TDs. Knight was also able to get it done on the ground, where he had 138 attempts for 396 yards and four TDs. The Wildcats defense is young, with freshmen and sophomores starting at the defensive backs position. Rising sophomore Pop Lacey led the team in tackles his freshman season with 82 (63 UA, 19 A), while his teammate and fellow starting freshman, Prince Smith Jr., lead the team in interceptions with five.
